EEAA North East Schools Combined Events Championships

On the weekend of 26th/27th June the EEAA North East Schools Combined Events Championships took place at Costello. Some local athletes competed and came away with some fantastic results. 

U15M Junior Boys Pentathlon 
Oliver Chant finished 3rd place with 4pbs and 2012 points. Obtained an invite to the National Finals in September. 

U17W Intermediate Girls Heptathlon
Beth Moodie competed in her first ever Heptathlon and came away with 6pbs finishing in 9th place out of 15 with 3487 points. 

U17M intermediate Boys Octathlon
Toby Greensmith finished in 4th place with 2923 points which included 7pbs
Tim May finished one place behind in 5th with 2545 points and 5pbs

U20W Senior Girls Heptathlon 
Emilia Russell finished in 2nd place with 3861 points. She qualified for the National Finals in September. 
Rosie Shepherd finished in 3rd place with 3508 points. She qualifies for the National Finals also. 

U20M Senior Mens Decathlon
Oliver Adnitt took first place and qualified for the National Finals in September at Bedford with massive 6647 points. He managed 5pbs and also broke an old Kingston Upon Hull AC club record with his final total.
